Students grow food and friendship

On Wednesday 26th June, a group of SEN students had the exciting opportunity to participate in a food growing and outdoor learning project at Stepney City Farm. This aimed to teach invaluable gardening skills and provide opportunities for hands-on experience of local agriculture.

Beyond the educational aspects, the project was an opportunity for the students to enhance their social skills, interact with others and build friendships. They also literally enjoyed the fruits of their labour, as some students had the chance to taste the broad beans they planted.
