A Day of Learning and Growth at SOAS for Mulberry Stepney Green Year12 Students

Today, 22 of our students from Mulberry Stepney Green had an exciting day at SOAS. They learned about super curricular activities and how they can help with university applications while understanding the difference between extra-curricular and super curricular activities.

The students toured the SOAS campus, getting to know the various courses offered and visiting the impressive library with over 1.5 million books.

The highlight of the day was a hands-on workshop with management consulting firm CIL. Students worked in teams to come up with ideas to increase profits for Pets at Home and then presented their ideas to an audience of over 100 people, including professionals from the consulting firm. They received great feedback on their creative solutions.

Overall, the day was a valuable and inspiring experience for our Mulberry Stepney Green students, giving them new skills and insights for their future!

Celebrating Global Girl Leaders at the Houses of Parliament

On October 11, 2024, our Global Girl Leaders embarked on an inspiring journey to the Houses of Parliament. This visit followed an incredible conference held at the QE2 Conference Centre, where 400 girls from across the globe came together to celebrate International Day of the Girl.

The conference was a vibrant showcase of youthful energy, ideas, and empowerment, culminating in a special reception at the Houses of Parliament. Our girls had the honour of being welcomed by Mulberry Alumnus Rushanara Ali, who has been a powerful advocate for youth and women’s rights.

The event highlighted the strength and potential of young girls everywhere, emphasising the importance of their voices in shaping a better future. As we reflect on the inspiring messages shared during the conference, we are more motivated than ever to support and uplift the next generation of leaders.
