History at A level is a well-respected and highly academic subject. We are confident that we have chosen a syllabus that is exciting, relevant, diverse and interesting. In year 12 you will cover two topics which fall under the title Searching for rights and freedoms in the twentieth century.
In year 13 you will complete a coursework unit on the Russian revolution and also study the topic Britain; gaining and losing an empire, 1763-1914. The history course has proven to be very successful in the past two years as students have thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the coursework unit and the diverse combination of interesting units. We look forward to seeing you in September.
