A Day of Politics and History: MSG Political Society’s Westminster Walking Tour

The Mulberry Stepney Green political society embarked on a fascinating walking tour of Westminster, joining forces with students from Mulberry School for Girls and Mulberry Shoreditch. The sun was shining as our students explored the historic streets and landmarks of the British capital, immersing themselves in the rich political heritage of the area.

One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to witness the iconic Changing of the Queen’s Life Guards at Horse Guards Parade. The spectacle was a thrilling experience, with the precision and pomp of the ceremony leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.

This educational outing provided our students with a unique chance to engage with the political institutions and history that shape our country. As they walked through the streets of Westminster, they gained valuable insights into the inner workings of government and politics, deepening their understanding of the complex systems that govern our lives.

The walking tour was a resounding success, offering our students a memorable experience that will stay with them long after they leave school. By combining politics, history, and cultural enrichment, we are confident that this outing will inspire our students to become active and informed citizens, equipped to make a positive impact in their communities.
